Jerome Armstrong On Suicide Watch As His Poll Shows Obama Up

I know that its been a bit confusing to the blogosphere to keep track of the constant moving of goal posts that is Jerome Armstrong while many people believe that is shilling for Edwards and using mydd as the official Edwards campaign blog but I think at this point I hope someone is keeping sharp objects and prescription drugs away from him as his last straw (The laughable Zogby poll) has just abandoned him.

I first want to say that I actually feel bad for Jerome in a way.  I truly sympathize with the position he is -- being so biased that it almost seems like he's working for him but trying vs being an unbiased observer on his blog.

While it has been embarrassing to watch on a personal level it has been tragic to see him take attach his credibility to mydd and watch it take flight like the Hindenburgh.

I really thought that the Des Moines Register would bring force him to come to grips with the reality of the race and embrace it but he valiantly soldier on.

It's one poll of 800 people, that's all. I'm waiting for Zogby's last poll, he's got just as good, even better, a track record in Iowa of showing the correct margin.

So just looking at the trend lines and heeding the Oracle himself, Zogby now shows almost EXACTLY what the Des Moines Register poll showed three days ago.

For those of you scoring at home this is an ELEVEN point swing with Obama and Clinton in this tracking poll that Jerome Armstrong says is the Holy Grail of predictors of the race.

It's also notable that at about the same time that the Edwards campaign tour bus collapsed on the side of an Iowa road as he began his 36 hour marathon so did his numbers as well.

While everyone knows (Except for the Oracle obviously) that Zogby polls are complete shit they are a good indicator of trend lines and it appears that Jerome's credibility trend lines are not hitched to Obama's.
